Read These Weekly To Stay Ahead Of The Pack
Has the year started fast for you?
Mine has been off to a flyer.
As I sit here, I am exhausted.
Admittedly, I have been doing a lot.
This week, my time has been split:
organizing an in person event
finalizing brand partnerships for FootyTutor
doing my day job (Media Buyer)
training 3x per week (football)
gym 3x per week
Oh, and adulting, can’t forget adulting.
Long story short, I am tired.
I have been doing one task I am proud of.
I spoke about this in a previous newsletter.
Reading my treasure chest email!
The theory behind it:
create a new email address
subscribe to leaders in your field
set aside 30 minutes to read the emails
take notes on the best bits that stick
unsubscribe from emails that are trash
These emails help me to keep my ears low to the ground.
They allow me to easily stay on top of trends in my field.
I gain so many ideas and perspectives from reading these emails.
So, I decided this could be a good time to share some of my favorites.
Onward.
1. Why We Buy

As a marketer, understanding consumer psychology is fundamental.
This is why I am so glad I came across Katelyn Bourgoin.
After following her on TwitterX, I was amazed by the insights in her posts.
After checking out her newsletter, the quality did not disappoint.
Each week, highly applicable information and angles about why people buy.
The best part? She breaks down actionable next steps based on your industry.
Concise, well - written value-packed.
A great addition to the treasure trove.
2. Late Checkout
When it comes to building online, Greg is someone I look up to.
I’ll be honest, some of his ideas are far-fetched.
But that is why I stay subscribed to him.
He forces you to think outside the box.
I think his biggest strength is his ability to listen to the “fringes”.
He takes in outlier perspectives and uses them to make predictions.
Are all of his predictions right? No, otherwise he would win the lottery.
But I admire how he puts himself and his ideas into the world.
At minimum, the quality of each letter is high and thought-provoking.
At it’s best, he gives early insights into industry-disrupting concepts.
Well worth checking out.
3. AI Multiprenuer

AI is hot right now.
It seems like everyone and their brother are creating content around it.
In a swarm of so much content, finding high-quality sources is difficult.
One that I have enjoyed recently is the AI Multipreneur.
I have found that their letters provide good insights into the industry.
AI is complex, you need an entry point that is valid for your field.
After subscribing to 10+ newsletters, this one is most applicable to ME.
4. Postanlty weekly (honorable mention)
For a milder read (not so work-focused) I turn to postantly weekly.
It is a curation of many great writings.
Mostly focused on personal development and human psychology.
I can’t put my hand on exactly what I like about the letter.
And i’ll admit, some of the issues are a bit vanilla.
But still a good variation in the inbox.
Recommend taking a look.
